Power 4 All, Inc. is currently looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are accomplished on schedule, within the allotted budget, and to the required quality standards and perform as a key player in the success of the company’s projects.
The ideal candidate should exhibit high standards in communication to partners and clients being an ambassador of Power 4 All. With a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role.
Job responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on project requirements, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish contracts that ensure favorable terms for the project.
- Collaborate with project managers, project engineers and other relevant stakeholders to determine procurement needs and create procurement plans aligned with project timelines.
- Analyze project specifications and develop a list of required materials, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate received bids, conduct bid analyses, and recommend the most suitable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Generate based on approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy in terms of quantity, specifications, and pricing.
- Monitor order status and manage changes to orders, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Analyze cost factors, negotiate pricing, and seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify potential risks in the procurement process and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement decisions.
- Mainrtain comprehensive and organized procurement documentation, including contracts,and supplier information.
- Checking of ordered materials and equipment.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the construction industry, preferably in water or wastewater projects.
- Must have deep knowledge of renewable energy, everything solar, batteries, etc.
- Strong technical skills, with experience in validation procurement, tendering and contract documentation.
- Excelllent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
