About the job
The Data Engineer / Scientist plays a key role in building reliable data pipelines and applying advanced analytics to support P4A’s digital transformation and operational excellence. This position is vital in ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of organizational data by designing and maintaining scalable systems, integrating multiple data sources, and applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights that drive business decisions.
 
In addition to technical development, the role provides cross-functional support through the preparation of reports, creation of predictive models, automation of processes, collaboration with different departments, and adherence to data governance and analytics best practices. The successful candidate is expected to balance precision and innovation, ensuring that both data and insights contribute to sustainable, efficient, and scalable business operations.
 
 
Job responsibilities
 
      Data Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes that ensure accurate, timely, and efficient data flow across systems.
  • Build, optimize, and manage data storage solutions including relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to support operational and analytical requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity by implementing validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with analysts, business teams, and decision-makers to deliver reliable datasets for reporting, analytics, and strategic use.
  • Automate workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and security compliance.

  • Data Science & Analytics
  • Apply statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into data solutions and actionable insights.
  • Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Contributions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance, HR, etc.) to identify data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in implementing data-driven initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.

  • Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in data engineering and data science.
  • Recommend process improvements and innovative approaches to strengthen data capabilities.
  • Adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and ethical use of data.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in data engineering, data science, or software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, Java, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL pipeline design, and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive and reliable team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual warehouse tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing stocks.
  • Willing to work in warehouse conditions and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of basic safety protocols and proper material handling is an advantage.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to take on additional tasks as assigned.
