About the job
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing process design calculations and deliverables in the execution of water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
The ideal candidate should exhibit high standards in communication to partners and clients being an ambassador of Power 4 All. With a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve water and wastewater treatment processes to achieve the highest levels
- Perform hydraulic calculations for pump and pipe sizing.
- Perform water and mass balance around each unit operation, given a specific raw water feed quality, and desired treated water quality.
- Hydraulic calculations and manual calculation
- Learn the existing water and wastewater treatment technologies of the company and determine how each treatment is used depending on the parameter that is of concern.
- Evaluate current procedures to find room for improvement, then suggest and put these changes into practice to raise standards, lower expenses, and boost productivity.
- Create and keep up with process documentation, which should include work instructions, process flows, and SOPs.
- Verify that processes are working in accordance with specifications by conducting process validation studies.
- Create and/or review the process flow and piping instrumentation diagrams.
- Resolve problems and put remedial measures in place by collaborating with the concerned teams.
- Find and assess cutting-edge tools and technologies that can be applied to enhance water and wastewater treatment procedures.
- Verify that all process-related designs adhere to applicable standards, regulations,and requirements.
- Assist during technical presentations and respond to technical queries raised by existing/potential clients.
- Conduct all process-related tasks (sampling, testing, etc.) during the process proving period.
- Work with Sales Team for proposal or bidding requirements and technical presentation with the clients, contractors, and P4A stakeholders.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or any related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a water and wastewater treatment facility.
- Strong technical skills, with experience in process design, optimizatio, and validation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with PNSDW and other relevant standards and regulations.
- Hydraulic calculations and manual calculations.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings (PFD, P&ID).
- Experience and with process modeling software, such as AFT fathom or similar tools.
- Professional engineering license is preferred and willing to travel onsite.
