Disaster Response

Natural disasters often occur with little warning and can wreak havoc on power and water infrastructure. Normal water supplies can be contaminated or interrupted, in some cases for extended periods of time.

Vulnerable communities require robust, reliable water treatment solutions often from difficult water sources.  These treatment systems must provide pathogen free water economically and with minimal operator presence.

  (M)

WATER CANNON (M) is a low-cost water filtration solution with a capacity of up to 10,000 liters per day, requiring no electrical power. It operates under as little as 1 meter gravity head and affords practical, small scale potable water treatment for use in remote locations or disaster relief applications for the production or potable water.

Its proven ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology provides primary disinfection by removing particulates and pathogens including bacteria, protozoa, cysts, parasites and viruses.  When combined with ultra-violet or chlorine disinfection, it will supply safe drinking water from most non-saline surface and ground water sources.

WATER CANNON (M) is compact, robust, easy to transport and simple to install and operate. It can be installed as a stand-alone unit or several units can be installed together for a higher clean water production volume.

 (A1)

WATER CANNON (A1) provides a standalone capability requiring no additional operating equipment.

With an operating capacity of up to 20,000 liters per day, the system affords practical, small-scale potable water treatment using proven ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology.  It provides continuous, automatic water production and self-clean cycles with minimal operator input.

Applications:
•Decentralized water treatment systems
•Community and rural small-scale systems
•Remote mining and resource communities
•Emergency and temporary water supplies
•Hotels, restaurants, resorts
•Bottled water production
•RO (reverse osmosis) pre-treatment
