Safety Officer (Project Based)

About the job
A Safety Officer will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and contractors involved in wastewater treatment and solar projects. You will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, providing training, and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
 
The ideal candidate should exhibit high standards in communication to partners and clients being an ambassador of Power 4 All. With a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role. 
 
Job responsibilities
  • Ensure that all wastewater treatment and solar projects adhere to local safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential hazards in project sites and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Provide safety training to employees and contractors, emphasizing best practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, site visits, and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for wastewater treatment and solar projects.
  • Conduct Daily Weekly Monthly Safety Meetings with subcontractors and employees.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among all project team members.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant safety certifications and training.
  • Previous experience in safety management for construction, wastewater treatment, or solar projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Philippine safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SO2 or SO3 - COSH
  • Loss Control Management (LCM), Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC), Scaffolder Inspector
  • Working at Heights / Fall Protection, Fire Safety, Accident/Incident Investigation Report.
