About the job
The Intelligent Systems Intern supports the Intelligent Systems Engineer in the design, development, testing, and integration of intelligent, data-driven, and software-enabled systems. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-world AI, IoT, software integration, and automation projects that support Power 4 All’s digital transformation initiatives.
The intern will assist in building tools, analyzing data, supporting system testing, and contributing to small-scale development tasks while gaining practical experience in intelligent systems engineering within a multidisciplinary environment.
Job responsibilities
System Support and Integration Assistance
- Assist in the development and testing of intelligent systems that integrate software, hardware, and data components.
- Support IoT and embedded system workflows under the guidance of the Intelligent Systems Engineer.
- Help document system architectures, workflows, and integration processes.
- Participate in basic configuration and troubleshooting of system components.
Data Handling and Preparation
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from sensors, APIs (Application Programming Interface), and internal databases.
- Support data preprocessing tasks such as formatting, labeling, and validation.
- Help prepare datasets for machine learning and analytics use cases.
- Assist in maintaining data accuracy, structure, and accessibility.
Software Development
- Contribute to the development of simple scripts, tools, and automation processes using Python or similar languages.
- Assist in building basic APIs, dashboards, or internal tools under supervision.
- Support debugging, code testing, and documentation of software modules.
- Follow coding standards and best practices in assigned tasks.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.
- Help identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in system behavior.
- Support performance checks and basic monitoring of deployed systems.
- Document testing results and assist in reporting issues.
Research and Innovation Support
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in AI, IoT, automation, and data systems.
- Assist in preparing summaries or presentations on new tools, frameworks, or trends.
- Support prototype development and experimental system components.
Collaboration and Learning
- Work closely with engineers, IT teams, and other departments on assigned tasks.
- Actively participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and project updates.
- Take initiative in learning new tools, technologies, and development practices.
- Support ad-hoc technical tasks as needed by the team.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with data handling, databases, or basic software development concept
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility in assigned tasks
