As a Mechanical & Piping Engineer in a wastewater treatment plant, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining the mechanical systems and piping networks essential for the efficient and effective operation of the plant. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure involved in wastewater treatment processes, and play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, with a focus on pumps, within our waste water treatment and solar energy projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our environmentally responsible initiatives.

Job responsibilities
  • Serving as a site Engineer for Mechanical works, ensuring the efficient and accurate installation and maintenance of systems.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to ensure that mechanical and piping designs align with treatment processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and develop pump systems that are efficient, reliable, and sustainable for waste water treatment and solar energy projects.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, including pumps, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Leading the Piping and Mechanical Design for Water Treatment Plant, leveraging my extensive experience in this area.
  • Review Engineering documents such as P&IDs, Equipment datasheets, and tank drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards like ISO, AWWA and ASME.
  • Utilizing Autodesk Plant 3D and PDMS software proficiently to produce detailed and precise piping designs, while also demonstrating expertise in resolving software issues and creating personalized specs and catalogs based on project requirements.
  • Taking charge of the development of 3D models for Mechanical and Structural designs, facilitating enhanced collaboration and visualization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performing precise site measurements for both greenfield and brownfield projects, contributing to accurate planning and execution of piping and mechanical installations.
  • Providing clear instructions to team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of Engineering drawings.
  • Assisting in the procurement of Mechanical items, ensuring their compliance with client or international standards.
  • Excelling in handling multiple projects simultaneously, effectively managing priorities, timelines, and resources.  
  • Demonstrating quick problem-solving skills, delivering efficient Engineering solutions to resolve on-site issues promptly.  
  • Effectively coordinating tasks assigned to subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of issues.
Whom we need for a high-performance team
  • Bachelor’s degree graduate (preferably with PRC license) and with relevant experience in the same field for one year. 
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, Outlook and use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and similar CAD tools to develop models and drawings.
  • Partake in researching trends that are essential to economic growth, poverty reduction and well-being.
  • Able to analyze or draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphic designs (Engineers)
  • Experienced in Wastewater or Water Treatment Plant (WTP) environment or at least strong knowledge & understanding in installation to completion of construction
  • Liaise with engineers, management, suppliers, vendors and the client.
  • Excellent interpersonal and, customer service skills, and value growth mindset
  • Maintain high standards in communication to partners and clients being an ambassador of Power 4 All. 
  • Self-starter, with a strong ability to initiate and deliver committed tasks ensuring utmost success in this multifaceted role. 
  • Keen to collaborating on new ideas and impact in a leading-edge environment
  • Office-based and willing to travel for site visits periodically
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, materials, pumps, and piping standards.
