POWER 4 ALL has been tapped as the design and construction partner for Manila Water’s latest solar project, a major step toward sustainable utility operations. Contracted by Ditrolic Energy Philippines, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Ditrolic Energy Holdings, the initiative will install 2.5 MWp of solar panels across three key Manila Water facilities to help reduce operational expenses and carbon footprint.
The project’s first phase covers:
Manila Water Company energized the 1 MW solar power facility at San Juan Reservoir on January 13, 2025. This milestone marks the beginning of immediate operational benefits, as the company can now harness direct energy savings from its own solar facility.
The East La Mesa Treatment Plant has also energized its 501.1 kW Solar Power Facility. Construction was completed in less than six months, and the system is now generating clean solar energy—reducing the facility’s dependence on grid-supplied fossil fuels.
Meanwhile, the installation of the solar power system at the Cardona Treatment Plant is still ongoing. Construction activities and system integration are currently in progress to ensure a reliable and sustainable energy supply for the facility. Once completed, the project will reduce dependence on conventional power sources, lower operational costs, and reinforce the plant’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
1,033.56 kWp Solar Power Energized in San Juan Reservoir
The project has reached a major milestone with the effective completion of the construction work that began in August 2024. Development continues on time after months of preparation, coordination, and execution. Manila Water Company, Power 4 All, and Ditrolic Energy worked together to ensure that every component met the highest standards of quality and safety. This accomplishment stands as a testament to their shared commitment and teamwork.
Now that construction is complete in two facilities and ongoing in one, the project is moving forward to deliver long-term benefits to the community and stakeholders.
501.12 kWp Solar Power Energized in East La Mesa Treatment Plant
Through this partnership, Power 4 All brings its expertise in renewable energy design and construction to one of the largest clean energy companies in Southeast Asia. Ditrolic Energy, established in 2009, now boasts a portfolio exceeding 430 MW across commercial, industrial, and government projects in the region.
991.80 kWp Solar Power for Cardona Treatment Plant
The installation of the solar power system for the Cardona Treatment Plant is still ongoing. Construction activities and system integration are currently in progress to ensure a reliable and sustainable energy supply for the facility. Once completed, the project will reduce dependence on conventional power sources, lower operational costs, and support the plant’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
