Power 4 All delivers Mobile Treatment Plant to Ormoc City

Power 4 All Customer Support Head Engr. Adrian Cantos led the training and commissioning of the Mobile Treatment Plant.

Power 4 All has recently completed training and commissioning of a Mobile Treatment Plant in Ormoc City, Leyte. The system was supplied Energy Development Corporation (EDC) and was delivered to the CDRRMO Office of Ormoc City where EDC will be donating the unit to the LGU for their disaster response operations.

Ormoc City is regularly battered by floods that are caused by heavy rains, landslides and deforestation. This then created the a need for the LGU to have more robust and easy-to-operate hardcore systems that could be deployed anywhere and anytime.

This particular system is designed to filter any non-saline raw water source and produce up to 3,000 liters per hour of clean potable water after just one hour from being deployed.

Power 4 All team arrived on the 16th of January, working through the late night to inspect the delivered unit and ensure that all the electro-mechanical and automation works.

The next day, the Power 4 All team showcased the basic overview of the system and conducted training on how to operate the system with over 20 representatives from EDC, Ormoc CDRRMO, ORWASA and the City Health Council.

Power 4 All also conducted a demo run of the system to showcase including hands-on operation where newly trained operators could start the system, work the controls from start to finish and shut the system off.
