These products can help them uplift their lives through savings on electricity, kerosene and candles, he also mentioned that several families have been using these already.

During the event, the Department of Trade and Industry also conducted training to ASKI memebers on various livelihood programs.

ASKI the organization was inaugurated in October 1986 in the year of the EDSA People Power Revolution when social issues like poverty and unemployment were widely felt. A group of business leaders in Nueva Ecija out of Christian zeal and compassion, joined hands to think of positive response to the issues and help deliver an economic turnaround-micro-enterprise.

POWER 4 ALL had been a technology partner to ASKI through the latter's Green Energy Program, a major initiative aimed at empowering communities within rural areas to live better lives through access to sustainable energy.  The goal of lighting up rural communities through solar power is to improve productivity, livelihood and education.
