At POWER 4 ALL, we believe that access to reliable and sustainable energy is a fundamental right. In partnership with BingoPlus Foundation, we are proud to have successfully completed our first collaborative project, bringing light and energy independence to the indigenous Mangyan families of the Samahan ng Magbubukid ng Manaul (SaMa Manaul) in Mindoro. This initiative marks a significant milestone as BingoPlus Foundation’s first solar system project, reinforcing their commitment to uplifting communities in need.

SaMa Manaul is a collective of Hanunuo Mangyan farmers in Manaul, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro. Known for their craftsmanship in buri weaving and farming, their community has long faced the challenge of living without access to reliable electricity. Many families have relied on kerosene lamps, battery-operated flashlights and candles, which are not only costly but also pose fire hazards.

Understanding the need for sustainable energy solutions, BingoPlus Foundation partnered with POWER 4 ALL to distribute:

βœ… 30 units of minihub3 Solar Home Kits - Each equipped with a solar panel, battery pack, LED bulbs, and radio providing households with a safe and sustainable source of light

βœ… 2 Mission 600 Solar Power Stations  Designed to power community centers, supporting activities that require more energy, such as charging devices, operating small appliances, and community gatherings.

Transforming Lives Through Solar Energy

The introduction of these solar kits and power stations has already started creating meaningful changes in the daily lives of the Mangyan community:

πŸ’‘ Brighter Homes, Brighter Futures – Families now have access to reliable lighting, ensuring that children can study at night, and households can extend their evening activities safely.

🌱 Economic Growth – With extended working hours, artisans and farmers can continue their handicraft production and farm-related tasks beyond sunset, boosting their productivity and income.

πŸ”₯ Safety and Sustainability – The shift from kerosene to solar reduces fire hazards, improves air quality, and significantly lowers household expenses on fuel and candles.

πŸ”‹ Community Resilience – The Mission M600 units provide a centralized power source for charging phones, running essential devices, and supporting communal activities, strengthening the community’s access to essential services.

A Partnership for a Brighter Future

This project is just the beginning of what Power 4 All and BingoPlus Foundation can achieve together. By combining Power 4 All’s expertise in solar technology with BingoPlus Foundation’s mission to #MultiplyTheGood, we are helping to build a more resilient and self-sustaining community in Mindoro.

We are grateful for the support of our partners and look forward to expanding this initiative to more communities in need. Together, we are not just lighting up homes—we are illuminating futures.
