Power 4 All joined the Tanglaw outreach program initiated by SOLAR Hope at Sta. Ines, Tanay, Rizal to provide mini hub solar home kits and bags of hope to 150 families in the community.
Sta. Ines is a mountainous area that has a challenge on transportation and electricity. It has poor signal and technology, and the locals have no stable source of income. Three Sitios from Sta. Ines such as Sta. Ines Proper, Nayon, and Kinabuan were the chosen communities of Tanglaw to receive solar home kits and grocery packages.
During Tanglaw's outreach, more than sixty volunteers from different organizations participated in the program. The team needed to cross six rivers before reaching Sta. Ines Elementary School.
Power 4 All conducted training on mini hub solar home kit, its proper usage, installation, and troubleshooting to thirteen community champions who will be in-charge in installation and troubleshooting of the units. The team also participated in the community consultation to know more about the current situation of the residents and how to fill the gap in future community support programs.
Power 4 All advocates to empower those in the marginalized communities through clean power and clean water. Giving lights, regardless of how small or big it is, impacts the lives of other people.
