Last January 2020, Power 4 All donated blankets and solar torches in support of JMH Microfinance’s relief efforts for their members in Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, and Masbate, who were greatly affected by the powerful Typhoon Tisoy. Internationally known as Typhoon Kammuri, the storm barreled through southern Luzon and Mindoro destroying everything that stood in its path, from houses to farmlands.
The JMH distribution team was composed of Mr. Leodel Bolanas (JMH Opearations Head), Mr. Arjay Galag (Sorsogon Area Manager), and Mr. Ricky Radaza (Pilar Sorsogon Branch Manager). Along with the Power 4 All items, the JMH team also gave away canned goods, rice, noodles, and other important necessities. The beneficiaries were immensely grateful upon receiving these items as their houses were totally ruined by the strong typhoon. They mentioned that the gifts will be of great help to their road to recovery and were thankful that JMH did not forget them in times of disaster.
JMH Microfinance provides assistance to their members by offering different types of loans such as solar loans, and kabuhayan loans. The amount of the loan will depend on the borrowing member’s capabilities.
Power 4 All would like to thank JMH Microfinance for allowing us to be a part of this important activity to help support their members especially at a time that they needed it most.
