Health workers and volunteers used solar lamps and lights powered by a portable solar device to inoculate 200 individuals during the COVID-19 vaccination drive held at Sulu-an Island Gymnasium, Guiuan, Eastern Samar last November 24, 2021, days before the National Vaccination Day announced by the Department of Health.
The Institute of Climate and Sustainable Cities, with support from The SHINE Project, donated a Mission Power4All solar power station to energize medical equipment in the rural health center especially during this pandemic.
