Families in the remote community of Canumay, San Jose, Antipolo City, are now experiencing brighter homes and brighter futures thanks to a meaningful outreach by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team of POWER 4 ALL on January 17, 2026. Organized by Solar Hope and supported by ZONTA Metro Ortigas, led by Lady Ann Valenton, the program introduced sustainable energy solutions that are positively changing life for local families.
Under the guidance of Adrian Cantos, Head of the POWER 4 ALL CSR Team, the program combined planning with hands-on action, ensuring every family received support that would last long beyond the day of the outreach.

The team departed at 6:00 a.m., navigating steep and uneven roads to reach Canumay by 8:00 a.m. Life in the community can be challenging after sunset. Without reliable lighting, children struggle to study, families face safety risks, and daily chores become much harder.

Through the program, families received minihub3 solar home kits, along with practical guidance on use and maintenance. Residents were encouraged to test the units themselves, creating a sense of ownership and confidence. When the lights finally turned on, the joy was immediate. Smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude filled every home.

The outreach went beyond equipment distribution. The team conducted house-to-house installations, listened to residents’ stories, and supported local teachers with school supplies. Every action highlighted the core belief of POWER 4 ALL: meaningful change comes from empathy, connection, and collaboration.
The results were tangible. Children can now study after dark, homes are safer, and families feel empowered and hopeful. The Canumay outreach is a clear example of POWER 4 ALL’s mission to be a #power4good, demonstrating that sustainable solutions combined with genuine care can create lasting, positive change for communities.
