The future just got brighter for young learners at the Sitio Culago Daycare Center, Brgy. Kalawakan, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan, thanks to a solar-powered boost that promises to make education more comfortable and accessible for children in this remote community.
In a joint effort to support education and sustainable development, POWER 4 ALL, in partnership with the Bingo Plus Foundation, donated a complete solar power system to the daycare center in Sitio Culago, Barangay Kalawakan. The donation marks a major milestone in providing reliable energy to off-grid areas where access to electricity remains a daily challenge.
According to local educators, the solar donation will allow the daycare to use electric fans, lighting, and basic learning equipment—significantly improving the learning environment for young children who had previously relied on limited natural light during classes.
“We are deeply grateful for this gift of light,” shared Dona Evangelista, a daycare worker. “It means our children can learn more comfortably, regardless of the weather or time of day.”
Representatives from POWER 4 ALL and Bingo Plus Foundation say the project reflects their shared commitment to uplifting underserved communities by combining technology with purpose.
With this new energy access, the Sitio Culago Daycare Center stands as a symbol of hope, powered not just by sunlight but by the belief that every child deserves a bright start.
